These photos are of "Bob" from the 2004 JRTCA National Trial at five years of age.  Bob went through a gawky stage as a teen/puppy, but once he came together he has stayed together ever since as you can see from the above photos at five years of age. Bob has an awesome shoulder assembly as well as a gorgeous head and elegant structure including a still-compressible chest. Besides being a gorgeous boy, his temperament can't be beat. And, when in the hunt field, Bob uses his form to support his function as a working terrier. Bob has worked a number of groundhog and we are looking forward to doing some winter hunting with him this winter (2007-2008).

Bob has always been a joy to own and hang out with. He has also had an impressive show career taking many Championships and Bests. I have many fond memories of his winning ways, but one of my most exciting moments with Bob was when he was chosen as Best Canadian Bred at the 2000 Canadian National Trial and winning his class at the 2004 JRTCA National Trial. Bob was one of three still remaining in the Best Dog class while the judge made his final decisions. Even though Bob was not chosen Best or Reserve that day, it was exciting to be among the top three out of all the outstanding competition at Nationals.

In addition to Bob's many conformation awards over the years, "Mr. Reliable"  has also produced several fine terriers in very limited breeding including: Springwood Madison, Springwood Reckless, Springwood Rowdie, Springwood Roxie,  Fox Run Chase, Fox Run Fancier, Springwood Full O'Beans (aka ButterBean), Kimberwicke "Roli" Shale and Kimberwicke Remix. Bob is also grandfather to many excellent terriers as well, including: Springwood Stubbs, Runamuck PintoBean, Fox Run Derringer, Canis Major Adhara and Canis Major Sirius to name a few. Check out Bob's Offspring page to see some of Bob's amazing progeny. In the past few years, Bob has only occasionally been to a trial, mostly to show in the Family Class. He has done quite well, with a few Best and Reserve Best Family wins to his credit.
